Dame Cicely Saunders’ published patient’s poetry to highlight life in the hospice. To commemorate National Poetry Day, I have scanned scripts from the BBC Radio programme, Pause for Thought, broadcast on 4-8 December 1989, that features the poems of patients of St Christopher’s Hospice.
